Enterprise City Council members are not happy with a recent decision by the Alabama Department of Transportation.
ALDOT officials say a traffic signal is not needed at the intersection of Freedom Drive and Rucker Boulevard.
Last month, the city took over maintained of the highway and changed its name from Headless Horseman to Freedom Drive.
The city council agreed to spend three-thousand dollars for a Birmingham company to do a traffic study on the intersection.
Mayor Kenneth Boswell believes new growth in the area has created a bottleneck.
Results of the traffic study will be forwarded to the department of transportation.
