Georgia and North Carolina authorities issued an alert this hour urging people to look for a white pickup truck they think was used to kidnap a 4-year-old and the girl's mother outside a North Carolina school.

The Amber Alert pinpointed a 1979 white Ford pickup truck with the license plate number CS 4165. The truck was last reported traveling west on US 74 in Cleveland, Georgia.

Alamance County sheriff's deputies said they think the truck was being driven by a man who grabbed his daughter and the girl's mother at E-M Holt Elementary School near Burlington around 8:30 a.m.

Deputies said they arrested two accomplices at a Burlington motel.

The suspect was described by deputies as Richard Gaddy, a white
male with brown hair and blue eyes. He was about 6-foot-1 tall and
weighed about 225 pounds.

The girl was identified as Christina Gaddy, who has blond hair and brown eyes, deputies said.

Anyone with information about the case was asked to call the Alamance County Sheriff's Department at 336-570-6776.
