Emergency warning sirens could be heard across much of Abbeville.
Three new sirens have been installed and were in the process of being tested.
A tornado ripped through the town five-years ago, destroying the public high school and leaving one person dead.
Abbeville now has five-sirens in the area and emergency management officials will be testing them the first Monday of every month.
The town is in the application process to add another siren in the near future.
