An alleged kidnapping of a 31-year-old woman ended with her being returned safely home.
Sheriff Lamar Glover said the investigation began Saturday when the woman was reported missing by her daughter.
The daughter said her stepfather, 31-year-old Jackie Lee Wilson from Jacksonville, Florida showed up at their home near Gordon. Her mother and Wilson had been divorced for some time.
The daughter went inside the house to get dressed, when she went back outside minutes later, both her mother and stepfather were gone.
Wilson allegedly has a prior history of domestic violence against the victim. He was taken into custody by Jacksonville police around midnight.
The victim was allegedly raped, but otherwise uninjured. She said Wilson forced her to go with him or he would hurt her children.
Wilson will be charged with kidnapping second degree and possibly other charges.
