Houston County authorities are asking you to help identify a suspicious car loaded with stolen property.
A burgundy Buick Skylark was recovered near the Florida state line. Inside, deputies found items reported stolen from a home on Cottonwood Road.
The vehicle's identification number was unreadable and it had a Geneva County license plate that was supposed to be on another car.
Sheriff Lamar Glover said the vehicle has not been reported stolen and investigators are trying to find out who it belongs to.
Fingerprints have been taken and will be checked against state records.
Anyone who recognizes the car should contact the Houston County Sheriff's Department or call Crimestoppers at 793-7000.
