Sixth Annual American Heart Walk

People from across the Wiregrass can get some exercise and help a good cause at the sixth Annual American Heart Walk.

This year's walk will be held Saturday at Westgate Park in Dothan. Registration is at 7:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 8:30 a.m. For more information, call 794-4570 or 1-800-254-9920.

You can choose between a one-mile course or a three-mile course.

The heart walk is held each year to raise money for heart disease and stroke research.

Last year's walk was held in memory of former WTVY News Director Jerry Vann.

American Heart Walk
