A new network reality series wants to film right here in the Wiregrass.
Enterprise Mayor Kenneth Boswell says he's been approached by an independent Hollywood production company.
The show will be called "The Great Race." It will involve pilots and airports from across the country.
Producers would like Enterprise Municipal Airport to be part of one segment, but the company wants the city to put up $50,000 and free use of the airport during filming.
Mayor Boswell recommended against giving up any money.
The council voted not to give the production company any money, but the board will allow the group to use the airport for filming.
They hope the national exposure will bring new interest to the city.
