In the Wiregrass, a trial began Wednesday in Abbeville for the final suspect in a Henry County home invasion robbery case.
Twenty-five-year-old Todd Ray Blackmon is one of four suspects in the case. They’re accused of tying up a Henry County farmer and his wife at gunpoint and stealing a safe from their home in December of 2001.
Jack and Ann Murphy were bound and gagged.
The couple has previously testified that the suspects threatened to kill them if they refused to co-operate.
Blackmon faces up to life if he's convicted.
The other suspects in the case are already in prison and some of them are testifying for the prosecution during this trial.
Jurors are expected to begin deliberating the case Thursday.
