Thursday marks the one-year anniversary since the double murder of two area victims whose bodies were found in their Tuscaloosa apartments.
Their killer is still unknown.
They were both found dead in their separate apartments at University Downs, and since, then the only thing authorities have found is a possible motive.
Clay North and Lindsay Whatley were both found shot to death around the same hour this time last year.
The two were friends and both lived in Enterprise before going to the University of Alabama.
They went to high school together then attended the university where Whatley was a student and North was enrolled for the following semester.
Investigators concluded after the murders that the double homicide was not random.
The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department is asking anyone with any information about the incident to call the Homicide Unit at 205-752-0616.
News 4 spoke with the family of Lindsay Whatley Wednesday night and they wouldn't comment about the case.
