The little girl who was attacked by dogs in Geneva County made it through her first surgery successfully.

Mariah Carver underwent the first round of reconstructive surgery to repair the gaping wound on her neck.

If all goes well, they plan to operate on the wound under her armpit on Thursday or Friday.

Meanwhile the family is asking the public to keep Mariah in their prayers.

Mariah's family will need help with medical expenses.

A fund is set up at City Bank of Hartford.

For more information you can call them at 1-800-435-2074.

Another fund is set up at the Army Aviation Center Credit Union.

You can stop by any branch or call 334-712-9494.
