A Dale County man charged with sexually abusing a child in a Dothan department store is now headed to prison.
Twenty-three-year-old Keegan Nordman of Pinckard changed his plea to guilty Monday in a Dothan courtroom.
He’d been held without bond since his arrest in September.
Nordman was accused of fondling a nine-year-old girl in the toy department of a Dothan Wal-Mart.
Judge Ed Jackson sentenced Nordman to eight years in prison.
The district attorney says the guilty plea spares the young victim the ordeal of testifying in open court.
