The judge in the Scott Peterson trial has removed the jury foreman.
He's the second juror booted from the case in as many days. Tuesday, the judge replaced a juror who reportedly had been doing research of her own. Deliberations then had to start all over again, after five days of talks.
No word on why the foreman was dismissed. He's a man in his forties who holds both medical and law degrees.
Now just three alternates are left.
Scott Peterson faces the death penalty if convicted of first-degree murder in the deaths of his wife and unborn child.
