Police in Panama City arrested a woman for operating a day care center that they say, violated numerous safety and registration codes.
57-year-old Norma Jean Bozeman was arrested after police responded to a call at the Bozeman family home care center and found an 8-week old infant not breathing.
Officers were able to resuscitate the infant using CPR.
While at the day care, police say they found Bozeman was caring for more than five times the number of children allowed by law.
Allegedly, the police also found unsafe sleeping conditions for infants.
Bozeman is charged with child neglect.
The infant is in serious but stable condition at a hospital in Pensacola.
