Honda Production Delays

West Coast dockworkers are returning after a court ended a 10-day lockout, and the backlog of cargo could take more than two months to clear away.

Production at Honda's Lincoln, Alabama plant will be shut down Friday because of a lack of parts. And those needed parts were delayed because of the labor dispute.

A Honda spokesman said he does not know when production will resume at the Lincoln Plant, plants in East Liberty, Ohio and Alliston, Ontario. He said that decision will be made on a day-to-day basis.

Honda is trying to find alternate ways to get parts to its plants.

The Lincoln plant makes the Odyssey Mini-van and employs about 2,300 people.
