A Chipley woman is in stable condition after she was run over by a truck while cutting grass in her front yard.
It happened at a home along Fifth Street Tuesday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that Irmhild Sellers was using a push-mower when a pick-up truck suddenly struck her.
Gary Earl Nichols was reportedly reaching for a cell phone on the passenger side of his truck when he suddenly swerved and struck the 58-year-old woman.
The 24-year-old driver received a citation for reckless driving.
Mrs. Sellers was airlifted to a Dothan hospital. She is in stable condition.
