Gas Prices Rise in Time for Holiday

UNDATED, Ala. (AP) - Traveling for Thanksgiving will hit drivers a little harder in the pocket this year.

Gas prices are up about 13 cents from two weeks ago. The national average is $3.09 a gallon. But regular unleaded is about 8 cents cheaper in Alabama.

According to Triple A's fuel gauge survey today, the statewide average for regular is $3.01 a gallon. Midgrade fuel is almost $3.22 and the average price for premium is $3.31 a gallon.
