Enterprise Murder Trial

One of three gunmen charged in the murder of an Enterprise business owner will go on trial this week, but jury selection is going slowly in the trial of Robert Conrad.

That's because many potential jurors have told the court that they have read or seen media reports about the case.

In May 2001, Jelaine Dennis was gunned down inside her adult novelty store during an armed robbery. Conrad was reportedly shot during an exchange of gunfire with the victim.

Two other accomplices also charged with capital murder will be tried later this year.

If convicted, Conrad could get the death penalty.
