The investigation continues into a shooting in Covington County that left one person dead.
The Alabama Bureau of Investigation is releasing very little information about the case.
It happened Thursday in Lockhart, which is located about 83 miles Southwest of Dothan near Florala.
Alabama State Troopers say the shooting involved a Covington County sheriff's deputy.
According to eyewitnesses, a suspect was allegedly beaten while resisting arrest.
Officials say he then grabbed the deputy's taser gun and ultimately was shot and killed.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
