A convicted sex offender who was arrested nearly 10 years after the crime will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Forty-three-year-old Kenneth Eugene Bryant was given a 300-year sentence Thursday.
Last month, he was convicted of raping and trying to kill an 85-year-old Dothan woman in 1993. She was blinded in the attack.
Bryant was serving a seven year sentence for robbery when a DNA test linked him to the 1993 attack.
A judge sentenced him to three consecutive 99-year sentences, the maximum allowed by law.
