A barrage of bullets silenced the crowd and brought an abrupt end to a rock concert inside a Columbus, Ohio nightclub last night (Wednesday).
According to investigators and witnesses, an unidentified man opened fire inside the club during the show.
The suspect, who was shot and killed by a police officer, opened fire as the band "Damage Plan" began their first song.
The victims have not been identified yet, but at least 5 people are dead, including the shooter.
Witness accounts place the gunman on the stage with the band at the time of the shootings.
He allegedly began to firing at various members.
Some say patrons initially were unsure of what was occurring.
Many did not know if the gunman was a part of the show, before they began to flee.
