A traffic accident on Highway 231 left traffic backed up for miles and hours last night.
The wreck involved two semi trucks and a small car just after seven o'clock North of Dothan in Midland City.
According to Midland City Police, a woman driving a small car failed to yield before crossing the highway, smashing into two semi truck trailers.
The first truck involved tipped and spilled diesel fuel across the highway.
After hitting the first truck, the driver of the small car then allegedly ran into the second semi truck trailer.
Traffic on both sides of the highway was diverted.
It took hours for officials to clean up the spilled diesel fuel.
The woman and the two other drivers are all okay.
