A Dale County man charged with sexually abusing a child in a Dothan department store will remain behind bars.
23-year-old Keegan Nordman of Pinckard went back to court Tuesday in an effort to get out of jail.
He’s been held without bond since his arrest in September.
Nordman is accused of fondling a nine-year-old girl in the toy department of a Dothan Wal-Mart.
Security cameras caught the crime on tape and a gift card used by the suspect that day led police to Nordman.
Nordman asked Judge Ed Jackson to set bond so he could get out of jail. But District Attorney Doug Valeska says the suspect is still a threat to other children.
Judge Jackson refused to set bond for Nordman and the suspect is still being held in the Houston County Jail.
