Dothan Police now say a late-afternoon shooting incident left two people wounded. The shots rang out around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Ussery Street.
Paramedics at the scene treated one man before being transported to a hospital. Police found a second victim already in the emergency room that had been taken in a car.
Investigators say both men were hit by bird shot from 12 gauge shotguns, but their wounds did not appear to be life threatening.
The violence apparently erupted during an argument. Police are looking for more than one suspect.
A white Monte Carlo and a light colored Caprice may have been used as get-away cars. The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of relatives.
