The investigation continues in an attempted murder incident which led to a high speed chase by Florida police. The entire ordeal involved three panhandle counties.
It started yesterday (Monday) morning in Bay County.
A suspect ran from police through Washington County and ended up being arrested in Holmes County.
The suspect reportedly shot and stabbed two people in the Fountain Community.
28-year-old Jason Croff of Vernon reportedly used the gun and knife on Daniel Andrews and William Carlisle, both of Bay County.
Then Croff fled from police to the East I-10 Exit ramp off Highway 79.
After shooting out the suspect's tires, Bonifay Police Chief Ronnie Bennett got in front so Croff couldn't go any further.
Croff is held in the Holmes County Jail on attempted murder charges.
He is expected to be moved to a facility in Panama City in the next couple of days.
A motive for the stabbing and shooting is not known.
Both victims are reportedly in critical condition at a Panama City hospital.
