Houston County Sheriff Lamar Glover says a 12-year-old murder case has been solved with the indictment of a Dothan man.
32-year-old Christopher Floyd was indicted for capital murder Friday by a Houston County Grand Jury.
He’s accused of killing Archie Crawford during a robbery at Waller’s grocery between Ashford and Cottonwood in February of 1992.
Floyd is currently serving three life sentences in prison for property crimes.
Sheriff Glover says investigators had interviewed Floyd several times over the years and in September, Investigator Keith Cook talked to him again.
Sheriff Glover says Floyd will be returned to prison where he will wait to stand trial.
