Investigators found one of Bay County's largest methamphetamine laboratories when a woman accidentally dialed 911 and hangs up.
Deputies say 43-year-old Vicki Lynn Nunnery told them she hung up the phone after realizing she had inadvertently dialed 911 while trying to reach her mother. She was unaware that it is standard procedure for police to send an officer to investigate all 911 disconnections.
The investigating deputy smelled the distinct odor of meth while talking with Nunnery and 44-year-old Vito James Knowles.
The two were charged with trafficking meth. They face additional drug and weapon charges. Both remain at the Bay County Jail in Panama City.
