A Dale County man charged with sexually-abusing a child in a Dothan department store is going back to court in an effort to get out of jail.
Twenty-three-year-old Keegan Nordman of Pinckard has been held without bond since his arrest in September.
He’s accused of fondling a nine-year-old girl in the toy department of a Dothan Wal-Mart.
Security cameras caught the crime on tape and tracked the suspect as he left the store.
Prosecutors contend Nordman shaved his beard and tried to alter his appearance to avoid arrest after the tape was broadcast by News 4. But, police tracked Nordman to the place where he worked by tracing a Wal-Mart gift card he used to make a purchase the day of the incident.
Nordman’s attorney has filed a motion to set bond for the suspect.
A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 7 at the Houston County Courthouse.
