Reno Concedes in Florida Primary

Tampa attorney Bill McBride is the official winner of Florida's Democratic primary for governor.

Janet Reno conceded the Democratic nomination for governor to Bill McBride on Monday, after final tallies showed her trailing by some 4,800 votes.

The former Attorney General said she won't demand a recount.

The state canvassing commission certified results of the election Tuesday morning. It took place about the time McBride and his entourage arrived in Tallahassee to begin a statewide tour.

Campaign sources said McBride plans to name State Senator Tom Rossin as his running mate.
