Local Red Cross Helps California Wildfires

As the wildfires continue to burn southern California, the Red Cross is stepping up to assist those in need.

They have moved nearly 2000 workers from across the country to the area to help with feeding and sheltering efforts.

Locally, the executive director of the Wiregrass American Red Cross along with five other volunteers went to San Bernardino Thursday to support the relief effort.

Shelters are being built, supplies are being donated, and cleanup crews are en route.

If you would like to make a contribution to those victims of the California wildfires, you can call the ref cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS.
