There are new signs that Al-Qaida may have been involved in the kidnap-killing of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.

A Pakistani police source said an Al-Qaida militant arrested in a raid last week has been identified as one of the killers of the reporter.

The source wouldn't identify the alleged Pearl killer by name, but said he wasn’t among the five terror suspects who were handed over to U.S. authorities Monday.

Those five include alleged Sept. 11 planner Ramzi Binalsheeb.

The source said the initial identification was made by a Pakistani who's being held in connection with Pearl's kidnap and killing.
