A Northwest Florida family and their small plane are still missing tonight, two weeks after the aircraft took off from an Alabama airport to flee Hurricane Ivan.
No one has seen Kevin Bomback of Molino, Florida, or his wife and their two children since then.
Bomback’s relatives in Houston reported the family missing a few days ago.
He had taken off from Atmore Municipal Airport in Alabama, about 20 miles from his home. Officials say Bomback's vehicle is still at the airport. He never filed a flight plan.
Bomback never returned to work in New Orleans, where he's an aircraft mechanic for Federal Express.
