Hobo Pantry Robberies and Security Measures

Security and safety measures are being reviewed after recent robberies at some local convenience stores.

Over the weekend, 29-year old Ned Junior James was arrested in connection with the robbery of the North Oates Street Hobo Pantry.

He is charged with 1st degree robbery.

This makes the 3rd robbery in a week at one of the local hobo pantries.

Investigators and officials with the Home Oil Company believe some of the robberies may have been by former or current employees.

Anyone with information about the crimes should call Crimestoppers at 793-7000.
