A Henry County man on death row is scheduled to die by lethal injection Thursday.
David Kevin Hocker was convicted of the March 1998 murder of Jerry Wayne Robinson.
Hocker was an employee of Robinson when he stabbed him in the chest and stole his wallet and debit card.
After two years in prison, Hocker said he found religion and gave up his right to appeals.
District Attorney Doug Valeska says Hocker is a man for taking the punishment he deserves.
Hocker’s execution is scheduled for this Thursday at 6 p.m.
