One of the busiest roads in the Wiregrass area is getting a face-lift and officials with the Alabama Department of Transportation are reminding motorists to slow down and watch out.
Preliminary work on a project to upgrade the intersection of the Ross Clark Circle and Kinsey Road in Dothan began earlier this week.
Starting Monday, traffic on one side of the 4-lane will be detoured into a two-way and the 50 miles per hour speed limit will be reduced to 35 miles per hour.
The project is expected to take about 45 days to complete.
