A man already facing burglary charges in Dale County will also face
similar charges in Houston County.
Sheriff Lamar Glover said 21-year-old Peter Hutto will be charged with
six counts of burglary. Hutto will be brought to Houston County once he has posted bond in Dale County.
The charges stem from a series of burglaries during the period of Sept. 4 through Sept. 9 at homes in Webb, Bay Springs, Ashford and on Cottonwood Road.
Bond for each Houston county charge has been set at $1,000.
Glover said that daytime residential burglaries continue to be a priority and are one of the most consistent crime problems.
The Sheriff is encouraging neighbors to look out for each other and not to hesitate reporting any suspicious or unusual vehicle or activity in their neighborhoods.
