Dothan and Houston County officials want some public input on a much-anticipated bridge replacement project.
Houston County Commissioners have scheduled a public meeting for this coming Monday.
About 10-thousand cars use the bridge at Beaver Creek on Brannon Stand Road each day.
Officials want to widen the road, but first they have to replace the bridge.
Dothan City Commissioners have voted to chip in $250,000 on the 1.8 million dollar project.
Work is scheduled to begin in June of next year and will take about 4-months to complete.
A public hearing on the project is scheduled for October 8th at 5:30 pm at the Highland Oaks clubhouse.
