For the tenth year in a row special need children and volunteers circled a pond near the Chattahoochee State Park casting their reels in hopes of snagging a catfish.
Property owner, Joe Phillips says about a ton of catfish were put in the pond to make it a memorable day for happy fishermen and volunteers.
"I think it's good for these kids, all of the schools, some kids don't get to fish, some are handicap," said Ray Bryant, a volunteer for the event.
"I just love these kids to death and it just touched me a lot," said Trent Singleton, a participant in the festivities.
Phillips says the event has become so popular he plans to hold it twice next year.
