American LubeFast Hosting Free Car Care Workshop

A free workshop to help women learn more about their cars is coming to Dothan.

If you've ever worried about getting stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire or want to know why the check engine light is on, this workshop is designed for you.

American LubeFast at 2211 Ross Clark Circle is hosting the second annual Women's Workshop, Sunday, between noon and 4PM.

The sessions are designed to give car maintenance and safety tips.

Manager of American LubeFast, Al Wilburn said, “In these three 15- minute sessions you basically learn just the highlights of maintenance on cars and also get you familiarized with areas of the vehicle that are important to you.”

Each session will be held in interactive learning stations where you learn how to check your oil, how to check tire pressure, how to change a tire and more.

The intent is to insure that everyone leaves with a better understanding of their car whether talking with a mechanic or stopped along the road.

James Hicks, manager at American LubeFast said, “They need to get involved in preventative maintenance. They expect their car to be safe and we want to teach them how to make it safe every time they get behind the wheel.”

By actively working along side technicians, you'll be better prepared for problems with your vehicle when you hit the road.

A free play area for children will be provided during the sessions and drawings will be held for free oil changes and spa packages.
