The Dothan Pavilion on Highway 231 was bustling with shoppers Wednesday as another new store opened up.
Early bird shoppers lined up outside the new Kohl’s Department Store in Dothan.
The store opened at 6AM on Wednesday with door buster deals followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Kohl's Store Manager Angela Yancey said, “When we first came in, we had a rush on our early bird deals, which is our specials that run for a certain time of day. Those were the really hot items. Once those went away, we had the regular morning rush. So, were doing good.”
Customers shopping at the new store can expect an updated look.
Yancey says to expect, “A new innovative look; the whole center of the store, juniors, jewelry, have a whole new look from the ceiling to the floor. [There is] a whole new look compared to stores opened a year ago.”
Pavilion shoppers seemed to enjoy the first preview of the store, including Evelyn Moore. “It's been wonderful and I'm so glad they finally got it here,” she said. “We really need a Kohl's, it's very nice.”
And, shoppers have even more to look forward to when Barnes and Noble Bookstore opens on October 10th and the first Ulta Cosmetics Store in Alabama opens on October 12th.
After you've shopped ‘til you drop, you can grab a bite to eat at Moe's Grill or Quiznos', which is scheduled to open at the end of the month.
No matter what your choice, there's a little something for everyone.
Shoppers have more to look forward to at Dothan Pavilion. Bed Bath and Beyond is expected to open sometime in November.
