Fireman/EMT Killed in ATV Accident

A four-wheeler crash kills a Hartford firefighter and injures another man. At 11:30 Wednesday night 24-year-old Mason Walding was riding on a four-wheeler with 27-year-old Nathan Rainey.
They were traveling on Millville road, just north of the Florida line. The pair crashed in an open field, both was thrown from the a-t-v. Neither man was wearing a helmet. Walding was pronounced dead on the scene, and Rainey was treated at an area hospital.
Walding worked as a Dothan firefighter and emergency medical technician with Dothan and Hartford fire rescue. Visitation for Mason Walding will be held at Sardis Methodist church in Geneva from six-to-eight o'clock Friday night. Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Saturday morning, also at Sardis Methodist church.
