A two vehicle crash in Pike County Monday killed a Union Springs couple and injured an Elba man.

A two vehicle crash in Pike County Monday killed a Union Springs couple and injured an Elba man.
Rita Tarver, 57, was pronounced dead at the scene, and McArthur Tarver, 64, died later at a Troy Hospital.
The crash happened at the intersection of Pike County Road 6602 and State Highway 223.
Troopers say the Tarver's car pulled into the path of an 18-wheeler.
The truck driver, Jeffrey Thompson, 42, was treated for non-life threathening injuries.
