Dothan Man Cleared of Robbery Charges

The person charged in the robbery of a neighborhood grocery store in Dothan last week has been cleared of charges.

19-year-old Cordaryl Berry was arrested just hours after the robbery.

District Attorney Doug Valeska dismissed the charge after police said a witness cast doubt on the identifications of the suspect.

On September 18th around 10:30 am, the Stough Street grocery store was robbed by a man with a green bandana over his face and armed with a knife.

According to the victim, the suspect entered the store and demanded money.

After threatening the store clerk, the suspect took some cash and fled the store.
