A nationwide lookout has been posted for a Dale County man wanted for murder in Florida.
A reward is still being offered for information that puts Stephen Jessie Lester behind bars.
There has been at least one reported sighting of Lester, but he is still at-large.
We first told you last Friday that warrants had been issued charging Lester with murder. He’ll turn 27 later this month and he's also wanted for armed robbery in Ozark. The accused killer also uses the name Omar Smith.
Lester is wanted for the shooting death of a Montgomery teenager, 19-year-old Andre Sawyer.
Sawyer's body was found in a ditch on Bowden Hill Road in Campbellton, Florida last Tuesday morning. Investigators believe he was killed at the scene.
Sawyer was originally from Montgomery but had been living in Dothan for several months. He was reportedly seen with Lester the night of the murder. Sheriff McDaniel says Lester is considered armed an dangerous.
Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads investigators to Lester. Anyone with information can call Crimestoppers at 793-7000 and collect the reward.
