Abbeville, AL - During a span from November 29, 2012 through December 4, 2012, a series of burglaries and thefts of air conditioning components took place in the Riverview Forest neighborhood in northern Henry County.
The thefts came from 12 different houses within the subdivision of which five of those same houses were also burglarized.
Through the course of the investigation, investigators with the Henry County Sheriff's Office / Abbeville Police Task Force identified two individuals as being directly involved in the crimes.
23-year-old Hunter Wayne Scott of East Clendinen Street, Abbeville, was arrested on multiple theft and burglary counts and booked into the Henry County Jail on bonds totaling $220,000.00.
A second individual, 23-year-old Anthony Shane Cole of Douglas Drive, Abbeville, is believed to be on the run from authorities.
