While not severe in nature, some late evening thunderstorms brought wind and rain to parts of the Wiregrass.
Late Sunday evening, a small complex of showers and storms slowly moved south across the area, bringing brief wind gusts, heavy rain, and frequent lightning to places such as Brundidge, Ozark, Enterprise and Geneva.
No watches or warnings were issued for the storms, as they did not reach severe limits. News 4’s ALFA Skycam Network did show the frequent lightning between midnight at 1am Central Time in both Ozark and Enterprise.
On News 4’s Facebook page, some of our viewers welcomed the storms. Angie Renfroe said that she “love[s] this weather.” While Barrett Galloway had simply one word: “awesome.”
