We wrapped up Friday Night Football last week. We handed over the final team of the week trophy of the season Thursday.

The Houston Academy Raiders are the big winners. Houston Academy is still riding high after a 21-14 win over Millry in the first round of the Class 2A State Playoffs last week.

The Raiders improved to 9-1 on the season. Andrew Dauphin rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown in the win.

They'll try to keep the good times rolling Friday in Round 2 against their old nemesis, Leroy. They’re the team that's knocked the raiders out of the playoffs in two out of the last three years.

This is the fifth meeting between Houston Academy and Leroy this decade. Leroy won the previous four against the Raiders.
