Marianna PD Makes Fraud Arrest
Barbara Harris of 1562 Mill Road, Alford, Fl., admitted to calling in the prescriptions on 02/01/12, by impersonating a medical professional employed with Family Health Care of Chipley.

On 02/03/12 Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to Waco Drugs at 4154 G Lafayette Street, Marianna, Fl, in reference to a female who was attempting to fraudulently obtain three prescriptions.
Barbara Harris of 1562 Mill Road, Alford, Fl., admitted to calling in the prescriptions on 02/01/12, by impersonating a medical professional employed with Family Health Care of Chipley.
Police were alerted on 02/01/12 of the inconsistency identified by the pharmacist and the supposed prescribing doctor. When Harris arrived on 02/03/12 to retrieve the said medication, she was apprehended.
Barbara Harris was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Correctional Facility for three counts of obtaining a prescription by fraud without incident.
