Marianna PD Makes Arrest
During a search of the vehicle officers were able to locate a small black container which contained 1.4 grams of methamphetamine, (2) Hypodermic needles and other items considered to be drug paraphernalia.

On February 8th, 2012 at approximately 01:01 a.m., officers with the Marianna Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Penn Avenue, on a red in color, Ford utility truck.
Upon conducting the stop for the traffic infraction of inoperable tag and brake lights, contact was made with the driver of the vehicle, Kenneth Vickery. During the traffic stop, a search of Vickery and his vehicle was conducted.
During a search of the vehicle officers were able to locate a small black container which contained 1.4 grams of methamphetamine, (2) Hypodermic needles and other items considered to be drug paraphernalia.
Vickery was arrested and is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).
Vickery was transported to the Marianna Police Department for processing and later taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
