Panama City - A Pennsylvania man is in the Bay County Jail facing bank robbery charges. Lynn Haven Police say they have never seen a bank robbery quite like this.

The bank did not say how much money the man stole, but it was at least enough to buy a beer. Lynn Haven Police Investigators say 49-year-old Dino Delaurentis arrived at the Suntrust Bank branch in Lynn Haven around 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.

Delaurentis allegedly walked into the bank, passed a teller a hand-written robbery note, collected the cash and got away. A witness followed him while calling police. It was not hard for her to keep track of Delaurentis. He was riding a bicycle.

Police say Delaurentis pedaled straight to a convenience store and bought some beer. That's where officers caught him. They say he had the beer in a brown paper bag and was still carrying the robbery note along with the cash.
