Manatee found dead in Fla. Intracoastal Waterway
A manatee was found dead in South Florida's Intracoastal Waterway over the weekend.

PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A manatee was found dead in South
Florida's Intracoastal Waterway over the weekend.
Palm Beach Police officers found the manatee carcass floating in
the water Sunday. Officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission retrieved it and shipped it to FWC's
Research Institute Laboratory in St. Petersburg.
Experts will conduct a necropsy to determine the cause of death.
